Marketplace featuring
Featuring places your service above non-featured results in marketplace search, category pages and the marketplace home lists for a fixed period: 5 days for 10 Heat, or 30 days for 25 Heat.
Featuring is bought per service, renews only when you choose, and never changes the service's price or scope.
HOT board promotion
A service can also be promoted onto a public HOT board. There it behaves like any other listing: it ranks by the Heat behind it, shows its click count and can be boosted by fans as well as by you.
Board promotion reaches people who are browsing categories rather than searching the marketplace, and it links back to the service and to your professional profile.
Choosing between them
Featuring is best for buyer intent: people already searching for what you sell. Board promotion is best for discovery and reputation, because it puts you in front of a category audience and lets supporters push you up.
