Terms of Service

BE HOT. NOW is a paid attention marketplace. Listings appear on public boards and their position is determined by paid Heat, not by editorial merit, popularity or quality. Every placement on the platform is a paid placement and is presented as such. We make no claim that a highly ranked listing is better, safer or more reputable than any other.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Publishing a listing requires payment. The minimum amount to enter a board is the lowest active Heat currently on that board plus the board's increment. For example, if the lowest active listing on a board holds 155 Heat and the increment is 1, entry costs at least 156 Heat. Minimums move constantly as other people buy Heat; the amount shown at checkout is the amount that applies to that transaction.

Every listing is reviewed before publication. We may reject, edit, unpublish or suspend a listing at our discretion, in particular where it is unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful. Rejection before publication is refunded; suspension for a breach is not.

Boosting is open. The owner of a listing can boost it, and so can any other registered user, fans, teams, agencies or communities. Heat spent on a listing you do not own is a purchase of placement for that listing and is non-refundable and non-transferable; it does not give you ownership, control or any claim over the listing. Referral Heat may only be spent on boosts as described on the Referrals page.

Heat is the ranking unit. 1 Heat equals US$1.00 of spend and is billed in AED at the applicable platform rate; prices displayed on the public site are shown in USD for convenience while every invoice, receipt and card charge is issued in AED. Heat you buy is active for the board's stated duration and then expires, at which point your position falls. Ties are broken by who reached the amount first. Heat is not a currency, a security, a token or an investment, has no value outside the platform, and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

Published listings can be edited by purchasing an edit pass. The fee is US$3.00 per edit. An edit pass is consumed when the edit is saved and is non-refundable once used. Corrections we require for policy reasons are made free of charge.

You earn 2 Heat of promotional credit when a new account is created through your referral link, and 10 Heat for every US$100 that person spends. Credit can only be spent boosting listings you own. It is not cash, has no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn, sold, transferred or refunded, and we may reverse credit obtained through self-referral, fake accounts or other abuse.

Prices on the site are shown in USD. Charges and invoices are issued in United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED); the exact amount charged is shown at checkout and on your invoice. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store card details. Applicable taxes are shown on your invoice. Invoices are issued automatically to your account and available in your dashboard.

Heat is a digital placement service that begins immediately, so purchases are final and non-refundable once the boost is active. We will refund where a listing is rejected before publication, where a technical fault on our side prevented the placement from running, or where the law requires it. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in suspension.

You keep ownership of what you upload and warrant that you have the rights to it, including logos, images and trademarks. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and distribute it for operating and promoting the service. We remove infringing content on valid notice.

Do not post unlawful, deceptive, hateful, adult or dangerous content; impersonate people or brands; list counterfeit goods, fraudulent schemes or anything that would mislead buyers; manipulate boards with fake accounts, chargeback abuse or automated purchases; scrape, overload or reverse engineer the platform; or use it to harass anyone. Regulated categories such as finance, health and gambling may require proof of licence before we publish.

PROMOTE and EARN are described on this site as planned products. Descriptions of unreleased features are not a commitment; scope, pricing and availability may change or be withdrawn.

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particular ranking outcomes, traffic, clicks, sales or any commercial result. To the maximum extent permitted by law our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss including lost profit or goodwill.

We may modify these terms and will update the date above; continued use after a change means acceptance. You can close your account at any time. Active Heat is not refunded on voluntary closure. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, fraud or legal reasons.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the seat of HRN Innovation Technologies Ltd, and the competent courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
